Victoria’s DWGM is a wholesale market that facilitates trading of gas injections and withdrawals from the Declared Transmission System (DTS).

The east coast gas system includes the facilities, systems and markets operating within an east coast jurisdiction, which includes all states and territories except for Western Australia.

An STTM is a hub-based wholesale gas market that supports short-term trading between gas shippers and gas customers. STTMs operate in Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney.

The GSH supports the trade and movement of gas, allowing participants to trade short-term physical gas products at Wallumbilla and Moomba.

PCT allows participants to trade spare gas pipeline capacity, helping to encourage transmission pipelines and compressors to be used more efficiently.

AEMO’s gas retail markets allow licensed retailers to sell natural gas to residential and business customers in New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia.
