AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE
The Forecast LOR2 condition in the NSW region for 19/06/2024 advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 117034 has been updated at 0540 hrs 18/06/2024 to the following:
[1.] From 0630 hrs 19/06/2024 to 0830 hrs 19/06/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1061 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 833 MW.
[2.] From 1600 hrs 19/06/2024 to 0000 hrs 20/06/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1073 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 719 MW.
AEMO is seeking a market response.
AEMO has not yet estimated the latest time it would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.

AEMO declares a Forecast LOR2 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the NSW region for the following periods:
[1.] From 0530 hrs 19/06/2024 to 0900 hrs 19/06/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1050 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 712 MW.
[2.] From 1600 hrs 19/06/2024 to 0130 hrs 20/06/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1082 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 592 MW.
[3.] From 0530 hrs 20/06/2024 to 1000 hrs 20/06/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1250 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 674 MW.
[4.] From 1600 hrs 20/06/2024 to 0100 hrs 21/06/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1253 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 591 MW.
