AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE
The Forecast LOR2 condition in the NSW region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 121024 has been updated at 1000 hrs 28/11/2024 to the following:
1. From 1100 hrs to 1500 hrs 29/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1332 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1171 MW.
2. From 1530 hrs to 1700 hrs 29/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1205 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1126 MW.
AEMO is seeking a market response.
AEMO has not yet estimated the latest time it would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.
AEMO Operations
The Forecast LOR2 condition in the NSW region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 121024 has been updated at 1000 hrs 28/11/2024 to the following:
1. From 1100 hrs to 1500 hrs 29/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1332 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1171 MW.
2. From 1530 hrs to 1700 hrs 29/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1205 MW.

The Red Cliffs - Wemen - Kerang 220kV line in the Victorian (VIC) region is planned to be out of service from 0400 hrs to 1430 hrs on 30/11/2024.
A credible contingency event during this planned outage may require:
- Load shedding in the Victorian outer grid; and/ or
- Market intervention, such as the issuing of directions.
Refer AEMO Network Outage Schedule (NOS) for further details.
