AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE

The Forecast LOR1 condition in the NSW region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 121849 has been updated at 1430 hrs 14/12/2024 to the following:

[1.] From 1530 hrs 16/12/2024 to 1600 hrs 16/12/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1395 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1237 MW.

[2.] From 1830 hrs 16/12/2024 to 2100 hrs 16/12/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1482 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1186 MW.

1. From 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs 17/12/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1430 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 745 MW.

2. From 2030 hrs to 2300 hrs 17/12/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1849 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1119 MW.

Non-credible contingency event - QLD region - 12/12/2024

At 2026 hrs the Kamerunga to Barron George 132 kV Line 7184 and the Kamerunga to Barron George 132 kV Line 7141 tripped.

AEMO did not instruct load shedding.

AEMO has not been advised of any disconnection of bulk electrical load.

The cause of this non credible contingency event is not known at this stage.
