AEMO experienced service interruption relating to Frequency Performance Payments (FPP) System. The FPP System was unable to calculate & publish Contribution Factors (CFs) from 14:36 Hrs AEST on 9/02/2025 till 09:34 Hrs AEST on 10/02/2025.

The service interruption relating to Frequency Performance Payments (FPP) System has now been resolved.

Default Contribution Factors (DCFs) will be applicable for the trading intervals where CFs were not calculated.

AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE

AEMO's weather service provider has issued forecast temperatures equal to or greater than the NEM Local Temperature Alert Levels for listed weather stations below.

SA
Adelaide West Terrace (39+ Deg C): 11th Feb, 12th Feb
Clare High School (39+ Deg C): 12th Feb
Mt Gambier Ap (39+ Deg C): 12th Feb
Port Augusta Ap (39+ Deg C): 11th Feb, 12th Feb

VIC
Mildura Ap (39+ Deg C): 12th Feb

The NEM Local Temperature Alert Levels are:

Launceston Ti Tree Bend: 33 Deg C, Dalby Airport: 37 Deg C, for all other selected weather stations: 39 Deg C.

AEMO requests Market Participants to:

1. review the weather forecast in the local area where their generating units / MNSP converter stations are located and,

2. if required, update the available capacity in their dispatch offers or availability submissions consistent with the forecast temperatures.

IPWAN Participants - Nil

Lan-2-Lan VPN Participants (IPSEC) - Up to 1 Hour outage for participants who have established their VPN connection/s via the AEMO NSW datacenter termination point (202.44.78.10 for Policy Based VPN and 202.44.78.12 for Route Based VPN) only - All L2L connections should be established to both QLD / NSW.

B2B VPN - Up to 1 hour outage to TNSPs with B2B VPN to AEMO NSW Datacentre if VPN connection is only terminating in NSW only.

SSL VPN Participants: None expected as DNS entry will be updated to remove NSW IP.

GASHUB: Nil

Note: Participants are encouraged to ensure their VPN connections are already established or are configured (as per AEMO best practice) to automatically failover to the alternate AEMO QLD datacenter termination point 202.44.76.10 for Policy Based VPN and 202.44.76.12 for Route Based VPN) prior to this scheduled outage.

*** Failure to do so will impact connectivity to Marketnet Services. ***
