Project Energy Connect (PEC-1) testing 31th January 2025 1100-1500 for flows from South Australia to Victoria direction up to 150 MW

There is an opportunity for testing Project Energy Connect (PEC-1) for flows from South Australia to Victoria direction up to 150 MW on 31th January from 11:00hrs to 15:00hrs
This test includes switching of transmission lines and reactive plant in South Australia and in New South Wales.

Launceston Ti Tree Bend: 33 Deg C, Dalby Airport: 37 Deg C, for all other selected weather stations: 39 Deg C.
AEMO requests Market Participants to:
1. review the weather forecast in the local area where their generating units / MNSP converter stations are located and,
2. if required, update the available capacity in their dispatch offers or availability submissions consistent with the forecast temperatures.

STPASA - Forecast Lack Of Reserve Level 1 (LOR1) in the VIC Region on 03/02/2025
AEMO declares a Forecast LOR1 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the VIC region for the following period:
From 1630 hrs to 1830 hrs 03/02/2025.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1130 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1022 MW.

No LOR condition is currently forecast in the STPASA period.
