AEMO declares a Forecast LOR1 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the NSW region for the following Period:
[1.] From 1730 hrs 14/03/2025 to 1800 hrs 14/03/2025.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1729 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1629 MW.

The Forecast LOR1 condition in the NSW region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 125599 has been updated at 1400 hrs 14/03/2025 to the following:
From 1700 hrs to 1830 hrs 16/03/2025.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1432 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1319 MW.

NEM Local Temperature Alerts for SA, VIC from 14 Mar 2025 to 18 Mar 2025
AEMO's weather service provider has issued forecast temperatures equal to or greater than the NEM Local Temperature Alert Levels for listed weather stations below.
SA
Adelaide West Terrace (39+ Deg C): 15th Mar
Clare High School (39+ Deg C): 15th Mar
Port Augusta Ap (39+ Deg C): 14th Mar, 15th Mar
VIC
Mildura Ap (39+ Deg C): 14th Mar, 15th Mar
The NEM Local Temperature Alert Levels are:
Launceston Ti Tree Bend: 33 Deg C, Dalby Airport: 37 Deg C, for all other selected weather stations: 39 Deg C.
AEMO requests Market Participants to:
1. review the weather forecast in the local area where their generating units / MNSP converter stations are located and,
2. if required, update the available capacity in their dispatch offers or availability submissions consistent with the forecast temperatures.

At 1303 hrs the Ulverstone - Emu Bay 110kV Line and the Ulverstone - Sheffield tee Paloona 110kV Line tripped and auto reclosed.
AEMO did not instruct load shedding.
Approximately 12MW of bulk electrical load was disconnected momentarily.
The cause of this non credible contingency event is not known at this stage.
