This message provides advice that Endeavour Energy has issued a Consultation Paper for a regulatory test project as per transition arrangements set out in clause 11.50(b) in the National Electricity Rules.
Endeavour Energy has applied for an exemption from the AER to not apply the RIT-D process for this project as part of transitional provisions in the AER RIT-D Application Guidelines. As such, this consultation paper has been prepared in order to comply with old Clause 5.6.2 of the NER which includes the application of the Regulatory Test.
This paper contains a recommendation to establish a new Zone Substation within the Marsden Park residential precinct of Sydney’s North West Growth Centre which will ultimately have 10,000 residential dwellings.
The total capital outlay for the project $19.9million.
In accordance with the Rules requirements, this Consultation Report will be placed on the AEMO website. Copies of the report are also available from Endeavour Energy.
Submissions from Rules Participants and Interested Parties on the Consultation Paper are due by the closing date of Friday 28th February 2014.
