2018 Benchmark Reserve Capacity Price
AEMO has completed its draft determination of the 2018 Benchmark Reserve Capacity Price (BRCP). The BRCP for the 2018 Reserve Capacity Cycle will be effective for the 2020-21 Capacity Year, which starts on 1 October 2020 and ends on 1 October 2021AEMO proposes a draft value of $154,500 per MW per year for the 2018 BRCP.
AEMO acknowledges the feedback provided by Market Participants and all submissions received can be found below. AEMO will consider all feedback prior to submitting the final report to the Economic Regulation Authority (ERA) for approval.
