Draft 2021 Benchmark Reserve Capacity Price
AEMO has completed its draft determination of the 2021 Benchmark Reserve Capacity Price (BRCP). The BRCP for the 2021 Reserve Capacity Cycle will be effective for the 2023-24 Capacity Year, which starts on 1 October 2023 and ends on 1 October 2024.
AEMO proposes a draft value of $136,300 per MW per year for the 2021 BRCP.
AEMO requests submissions from all sectors of the Western Australian energy industry, including end users, on the draft report. Information regarding the submission process can be found in the draft report.
The deadline for submissions is 5:00 pm Western Standard Time Monday 9 November 2020.
