In response to exceptional forecast electricity demand growth in South Australia, ElectraNet has published a Transmission Annual Planning Report (TAPR) Update.
ElectraNet is experiencing a significant volume of enquiries from customers, renewable energy generators, and battery providers wanting to connect to the South Australian network as the state continues its transition to a clean energy future.
In response to this, ElectraNet is consulting on options to expand the transmission network to support the forecast demand growth in South Australia.
ElectraNet is seeking feedback from interested stakeholders on the TAPR Update, which can be submitted to consultation@electranet.com.au by 30 June 2023.
