AEMO has completed the consultation with stakeholders on the structure of electricity participant fees to apply from 1 July 2016 for the following functions:
- The National Electricity Market (NEM)
- The Electricity Full Retail Contestability (FRC) Market
- The National Transmission Planner (NTP)
- The Energy Consumers Australia (ECA) fee collected by AEMO from NEM participants.
This consultation only applies to the methodology in regard to the structure of fees. The actual amount charged for each fee will be determined on an annual basis via the AEMO budgeting process.
