Independent Expert Report - Directions to South Australian generators during billing weeks 33 – 36 2023

AEMO issued directions to generators in South Australia during billing weeks 33 – 36 2023.

In accordance with NER Clause 3.15.7B (c)(1), AEMO is required to appoint an Independent Expert to assess and determine the additional compensation claims for the Directed participant that exceeds the $20,000 threshold and exceeds the $100,000 aggregate threshold.

AEMO nominated an Independent Expert on 15 November 2023 with no objections received. AEMO then appointed Euan Morton from Synergies Economic Consulting Pty Ltd as the Independent Expert to determine compensation.
