AEMO invites comments on the proposed changes contained in the Draft Report – Load Profiling Methodologies Proposal. Submissions must be made using the response template linked below and sent in PDF and .docx format to NEM.Retailprocedureconsultations@aemo.com.au. Submissions should be sent to AEMO by 5:00pm (Melbourne time) on Friday 20 January 2023.

First stage consultation
Subsequent to the implementation of the Five-Minute Settlement Rule, on 1 October 2022, an issue was identified where negative load profiling values were present. The consultation involves changes to the Load Profiling Methodology and various metering procedures to implement changes which are proposed by industry and AEMO proponents.
AEMO has prepared an Issues Paper to facilitate informed debate and feedback from stakeholders regarding the most efficient way to meet Industry objectives relating to the Changes.
