Market Management System (MMS)

The Electricity Market Management System (MMS) is the NEM wholesale system determining the cost of energy. MMS provides such functions as ancillary services, dispatch, market information, NEM reports, offers and submissions, settlements and prudentials, and trading facilities.

AEMO provides NEM data to participants through the MMS Data Model, described by the MMS Data Model Report. Public data is also available from the NEMWEB market data website, and through the web pages in this section.
