NEM Retail market system changes for WDR
The heat maps show the Retail market systems affected by the introduction of WDR.
Baseline - NEW
The new WDR baseline system will perform “predictability of load” calculations (for WDR eligibility) and baseline calculations (for settlement) for DRSPs’ NMIs. It will also generate baseline calculation reports for settlement statement reconciliation. The baseline system does not have a market interface, however DRSPs will be able to see the calculation results via the Portfolio management system.
Separately, AEMO is developing a web-based tool for participants to estimate their potential “predictability of load” assessment results. It is intending to release this tool to participants well ahead of WDR industry testing.
WDR updates to AEMO’s Retail Systems
WDR changes to AEMO's retail systems are modest and mainly relate to adding the DRSP participant type and related attributes (see table). There are no asexml schema changes required to implement WDR.
